    Prof. Zhuge was invited to talk at National Research Consortium of Canada at August 17, 2006.
    On Oct. 21, 2005, Prof.Zhuge received National Distinguished Postdoctor Award for achievement since the postdoctor system was established 20 years ago in China. Premier Jiabao Wen, Vice President Qinghong Zeng, and Nobel Price Winner T.D.Lee attended the ceremony and presented keynotes.
    Xiaoping Sun has been appointed as Research Fellow of China Knowledge Grid Research Group.

Our PhD student Jie Liu has been selected as 2003's Microsoft Research Asia Fellow. Only 28 nominees are awarded in Asia this year.

Our two papers "A Knowledge Flow Model for Peer-to-Peer Team Knowledge Sharing and Management" and "A Knowledge Grid Model and Platform for Global Knowledge Sharing" have been ranked No.2 and No.7 in the Top 25 of most downloaded articles of Expert Systems with Applications (Elsevier Science)
Professor Hai Zhuge is an editor of the international journal: Future Generation Computer Systems, he is organising the special issue "Semantic Grid and Knowledge Grid: the Next-Generation Web".  Call-for-paper 
★ Professor T.Y.Cheung (Chair Professor of City University of Hong Kong) visited our group and offered a short course on component-based software engineering in July 2002.
★ Our NSF Project was nominated as "Extremely Excellence" in 2001 (Admission Rate is only 5%).
★ Our group signed research cooperation agreement with the School of Computing, National University of Singapore on Feb 28, 2002.
★ Professor Sloot, editor-in-chief of Future Generation Computer Systems, visited our lab in March, 2002.
★ Professor Hai Zhuge is leading a team to bid for 2002's National Basic Research Plan Grant of China, participants coming from eight leading universities in China.
★ Professor Hai Zhuge is serving in the editorial board of the Information and Management. The SCI Impact Factor of this journal is 1.176.
★ Professor Hai Zhuge is playing the role of the area editor of the Journal of Systems and Software. The SCI Impact Factor of this journal is 0.492.
